About the Doctor

Dr. Doug Bennion is experienced in the latest orthodontic treatments and techniques.

Dr. Bennion is dedicated to offering the best orthodontic treatment available, while helping patients achieve their goals of better oral health, improved facial appearance and higher self- esteem.

Dr. Bennion grew up in northern Wyoming and attended Brigham Young University. He graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska in 1982 and practiced general dentistry in Billings, MT. After practicing dentistry for eight years he attended the University of Texas for two years of specialty training and received his Certificate in Orthodontics.

He is currently a member of the local Cleft Palate Team, on the board of directors for the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics and a board member of the American Association of Orthodontics. He serves as a board examiner for the North East Regional Board Examiners, and keeps informed of the newest techniques as a member the Texas Orthodontic Study Club and the Border to Border Study Club. Dr. Bennion has passed additional testing and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Bennion has seven children and eight grandchildren, and is involved in school, community and church activities. He also enjoys skiing, backpacking and camping in his free time. Photography and computers are also two of his favorite hobbies.




Dr. Chad Lambourne, DDS, MS

In June 2009 Dr. Bennion announced the addition of K. Chad Lambourne, DDS, MS to Bennion Orthodontics.

Dr. Lambourne is originally from Salt Lake City, UT where he attended the University of Utah and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology. From there, he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE and graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended the orthodontic residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY and graduated with a Master’s degree and orthodontic specialty certificate. Dr. Lambourne’s thesis on malocclusion as a risk factor in the etiology of headaches in children and adolescents was published in the December, 2007 edition of the AJO-DO. Dr. Lambourne became Board-Certified in 2007, obtained WCLI laser certification in 2005, and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Lambourne currently serves on the Clinical Advisory Panel for Opal Orthodontics and Ultradent Products, Inc.

Dr. Lambourne practiced for four years in Boise, ID for the Willamette Dental Group and also had his own private practice in Salt Lake City, UT which he sold in October, 2008. He also practiced part-time as an associate general dentist for two years in New York while attending orthodontic residency.

Dr. Lambourne is married to his wife Jennifer and they have two children: Josh (7) and Avery (4). The Lambourne family enjoys taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. Dr. Lambourne loves to golf, play basketball and root for the Utah Jazz. Jennifer loves to run outdoors, go to the gym, scrapbook and spend time in the sun. Josh is addicted to soccer, basketball and board games. Avery is a little princess and loves “dressy-ups” and anything that makes her feel older than she really is.

Dr. Lambourne is looking forward contributing to the dental community and excellence in dental care provided in Billings and the surrounding areas.
